# All Messages Read?

I did a quick search and didn’t see this topic, so here goes…

How come sometimes when I go to the boards, all of the messages are already “read”? It doesn’t really follow a pattern … it just does it sometimes and not others.

Is there something wrong with my cookies or something?

Have you opened that page the last time you were there but didn’t read the threads? That would make the threads lose the yellow arrow.

Do you mean logging in as logging in, or as opening the page? In other words, do you log out after each use and log in when you return, or use the auto-login feature?

Try adding some tech info. From the logging out FAQ:

For more help, you can ask in ATMB. Specify at the least the following:

1.Name of web browser and version  
2.Operating system and version  
3.Are you connecting to the internet through a proxy?  
4.What are your settings for “Automatically login when you return to the site?” and “Browse board with cookies?”  
5.In your web browser, look in the preferences/options/settings menu and list the values and descriptions of all values having to do with cookies.
