I’m off to bed. I’m looking forward to tomorrow night. Everybody was busy tonight, so I missed the Brahma’s season opener, which they won 6-2, and instead got to see the Stars lose 6-2. Kind of a sweet and sour hockey night. You all can cheer me up tomorrow. ---

Once again, events in my life beyond my control have forced me to miss the D/FW SDMB gathering! I’m stuck Thursday night, and I can’t get out of it! There is a glimmer of hope, however… My appointment is in Arlington from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, which means that should the fun at Red Hot ‘n’ Blue last until 9:00 PM or so, I might be able to make the last 15 minutes of it. Here’s what I plan to do: 1). Leave Arlington around 8:30 or so. 2). Go directly to Red Hot ‘n’ Blue 3). If you’re still there, meet you all. If not, go home.
