We’re seeing reports from anonymous sources. These reports are coming from mainstream reliable news organizations as well as more questionable ones. They’re coming from more than one country. We have Congressmen raising the alarm. Either there’s some truth to it, or there’s some sort of organized disinformation campaign feeding news organizations (and possibly intelligence organizations) bogus information. Either possibility is disturbing. If I had to guess, I’d say that it’s a combination of both. There’s some truth, along with fake material intended to discredit all of it in the public eye. Just my opinion. ---

I think that davidm is trying to make some sort of meta-comment on all the various “I’ve heard things from people and read them on the Internet” sort of theories that we’re hearing about. So he’s not asserting any particular theory but rather representing the entire field in a ridiculous way. Or he needs to see a therapist. ---
