This thread’s purpose was “hey, lets all talk about how much we hate religious people” and, in that framing, jokes about how it would really be a mercy somehow seem supportive. Especially given the people who weren’t actually joking. This is really more attention than I had any desire to pay to this steaming pile of shit. I think I’ll check out of this thread now. ---

I have to agree with some of the comments above. I certainly approached it with a ‘make fun of the ridiculous OP’ approach. I can certainly see how the high road would be not participating. ---

I don’t mind if a mod closes this now. It was fun for a while but now the humourless twonks seem to have showed up. I’ve decided I actually prefer the religious people to humourless atheists. Who’d have thought - you’ve nearly converted me. ---
