I wonder what history would have been if Hitler had the Internet? He posts an idea in GD, “Hey, why don’t we kill all the Jews?”. 1/3 of the responders get all indignant and trash the guy for the mere suggestion, another third would explain why it’s simply not practical, and the final third would suggest ways to do it best, or most amusingly. Jeez, lighten up, people! ---

Believing in evolution is reasonable because it has a mountain of evidence behind it. New Gunterston, while a veritable Shangri-La of loose women and advanced treatments for venereal diseases, would be nice if it existed, but doesn’t really have much aside from second hand accounts.
