# All right, I'll ask. Being a jerk via PM?

We don’t have any “per page” rules, because the definition of a “page” varies from user to user (you can set the number of posts per page in your User CP).

The actual signature rules are in the FAQ [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=7697069#post7697069). Regarding frequency, it says:
