ABBA should win the Grammy in this catagory! Mostly for the cheesy lyrics of two Swedish guys trying to write in English. Some of their early stuff especially: “I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do,” “I Am Just A Girl,” “Love Has Its Ways.” The next time you’re in a mood for cheesey music, pick up their “Ring, Ring” CD. It’s so cheesey it wasn’t even released in the USA for 20 years! ---

Aack! I cannot let Timbuk3 being in the same post as the Village People go by uncommented. If you listen to any of their other music you would know “Gotta wear shades” was meant to be tongue in cheek. “Edge of Allegiance” is a must have album,imho(which does not include “Shades”). ---

I think there is a difference between _cheesy_ and _stupid or silly_. For pure cheesiness, I nominate “Feelings”. ("… nothing more than feeeeeeeelings…") by Morris Albert. ---
