This ‘snowflake’ thing going around here has to be the biggest head-scratcher. I haven’t seen ANY snowflakes on this board. I see the usual tribalism…etc…etc…but I don’t see anyone asking for safe-spaces or talking about micro-aggressions unless in the most facetious manner. Out of all the things to attack those of a left-leaning bent…crazy. edit: Ok, i get the joke. But my point stands in general. Apologies for my being dumb. ---

Have not seen any snowflakes. Shit ton of rain though. Our precious little fragile butts are being washed away out here in left coast land. We’ve had at least five six-inch storms back to back. Walked out before dawn this morning to find my gravel driveway had turned into a river (backed up culvert) and was well into the process of moving to the ocean for good. A few snowflakes would be fine. ---

On the subject of the OP, out here in Portland OR we’ve had an unusually large amount of the crystals these last few weeks, with the schools now scrambling to figure out how to make up for, I believe, 9 snow days. Driving by a church, I saw on its marquee “IF YOU HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR SNOW, PLEASE STOP” ---
