# Allergic to sex?

Interesting column. I wish there were references to Cecil’s sources, though, and a little more specificity at least as to cities and years of previous cases.

Also, the word “prototypical” is misspelled at the start of the sixth paragraph of Cecil’s answer.

I knew a gynecologist who said he had seen two in his career who were allergic to semen.

**Elendil’s Heir** : thanks for catching the typo, we’ll get it fixed.

Back in 1992, Cecil’s process was pretty messy and haphazard. Neither he nor Ed kept records in any useful or searchable fashion, and the column was limited number of words, so he didn’t provide cites.
