Ummmm … strictly speaking … when the House votes 297-133 and the Senate votes 77-23 in _favor_ of sending the military to Iraq … it’s not an illegal war … just saying … Senator Hillary voted ‘yes’ … so it has to be legal ---

The war in Iraq wasn’t illegal. Bush II had congressional approval. It was stupid, pointless, and done for reasons either deceptive or delusional, but it was not illegal. ---

I agree the war was stupid, deceptive and delusional … but the point was for the grateful Iraqi population to vote in favor of giving their crude oil assets to Halliburton (stock symbol HAL) … there has to be something for the Vice President to do. Sure, I was mad when we went into Iraq … but I was (and still am) absolutely _livid_ that we should pull back out … only complete imbeciles would think fixing the problems there would take less than three generations … we pull out and, fucking duh, ISIS happens. ---

When people say a war was illegal they rarely mean by that countries own rules I’m sure Saddam invading Kuwait wasn’t against Iraqi Law and WW2 wasn’t against Nazi Law Saying it America didn’t break American Law misses the point … no war would be illegal under those circumstances ---

Can we drop this hijack of a lot of people saying a lot of things about if the war was legal or if it wasn’t legal or if it was never legal but maybe then it was but people said it wasn’t and then actually if Bush lied or did not tell about the truth or what now then? I’d like to get back to the OP and see if there’s more interesting stuff about comments people might have about who is mad at Bush and doesn’t like Bush and Tony Blair and Tony B. and who does like them and who likes soldiers killed in Iraq and then if you’re angry about people making sense and so on actually then. ---
