I saw Star Wars 15 times in the theater. I saw Empire Strikes Back 12 times in the theater. I saw Return of the Jedi 4 times in the theater (freakin Ewoks) and I saw Phantom Menace twice in the theater and it would have been only once but I got stuck going the second time. Who knows, if Lucas keeps this up maybe I’ll wait for the DVD for Episode II and wait for the 2 p.m. Sunday movie on WGN for Episode III.

Jokes aside I probably will go and see the next two installments in the theater. I just keep hoping if people bitch long and loud enough some of the complaints might be heard past the ultra-security at ILM into George Lucas’ ear.

I’ve already considered a class-action lawsuit against Lucas to strip him of this property and give it to the Washowski brothers but so far I can’t find an attorney willing to take the case. Maybe I can get a personal injury attorney interested and claim a few million dollars in damages for the pain and suffering of watching a childhood favorite stripped of anyting that might be considered good.

Mostly, I’m just referencing the [Wu-Tang Clan](http://www.wu-tang.com). Fun FYI: “wu-tang” is apparently the same thing as “wudan,” the sword style they use in _Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon_.
