My wife came home from the store with a box of these the other day. I admit I thought they were pretty funny. I hadn’t known about them before. She laughingly refers to our baby (10 months old) as wearing “Daisy Dukes,” which seems a little creepy, doesn’t it?. Especially because said baby is a boy, who it seems may have many years of counseling in his future. ---

My only concern is that we’re going to see a sharp upswing in the number of people who wander around Wal-Mart with grimy barefooted toddlers wearing nothing but diapers tagging along behind them. “They look like pants, it’s okay!” No. No, it’s not. ---

I saw the commercial while I was getting my tooth drilled. The Dental Assistant thought it was hilariously great while I hid my (opposite) reaction. I mean, this is an item of clothing made to be filled with _shit_. What the hell is wrong with people that fashion should even be a consideration? ---

Amateurs. A few months ago, people would camp out all night waiting for [this store](http://shop.thegoodmama.com/category_s/251.htm)to stock, then trade diapers or re-sell them for $50 and more. They were the Silly Bandz of the cloth diapering world. (But I have knitted a Gryffindor striped wool longies diaper cover for my daughter, so I can’t make fun of anyone for looking for style in a diaper.) ---
