Session 9. There’s a slight set up for it in the original movie, but in the alternate ending, they follow through with it. Made the movie more intriguing.
My argument was that the theatrical version was about the relationship between Scott and Ramona but the alternate version changed that. By having Scott choose Knives at the end of the movie - the girl he had started out with - the main story became about how Scott grew up and Ramona was just a part of this story. She was reduced from Juliet, the co-lead, to Rosaline, a supporting character.
