A couple of points from a post I read on another site “The Party told you to reject all evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” –from “Nineteen Eighty Four” by George Orwell Believe in truth. To abandon facts is to abandon freedom. If nothing is true, then no one can criticize power, because there is no basis upon which to do so. If nothing is true, then all is spectacle. The biggest wallet pays for the most blinding lights. Truer words have not been spoken. ---
