Has anyone released a good alternative to Google Desktop? We keep most of our files on network drives and it’s a PITA to get Windows Search to index those.

[Copernic](https://www.copernic.com/en/products/desktop-search/) was good in the days before indexed search came with Windows and Google Desktop was a thing. Their current version says it still indexes and works with network drives, so maybe give that a try?

Or try [Everything](http://www.voidtools.com/).
