# Alternative to NSAIDS for?

Note that Voltaren exists both as a pill and as a topical medication. If you discuss it with your doctor, make sure you mention the topical part.

Topical voltaren works like magic for me. But never seems to work for me when I ingest the pill form.  
I’m a meloxicam guy, personally.

Unless they’ve watched you at night, how are they going to know? Sure, there are other causes of TMJ, but teeth grinding is a big one, and night time is the only time you’d be unaware of it.

I was under the impression that stopping nighttime tooth grinding was a standard opening treatment. It’s the first thing my dentist tried on me.
