Previous thread that I posted in on ambidexterity. You’re probably left-handed. Mixed-dominance is pretty common, particularly with lefties. For example I’m naturally left-handed but right-eyed, and I shoot firearms and bows right-handed. A college roommate used to try to shoot right-handed even though he was left-eyed. His accuracy did go up a bit when he took my suggestion to switch to left-handed shooting, but he was not particularly successful at improving his speed and fluidity in acquiring the target because he was so strongly right-dominant.
I tend, righly or leftly (ha!), to think of ‘ambidextrous’ meaning doing the same things equally well with each hand - more like the Garfield reference above but not necessarily doing both at the same time. That would be “ambidextrous with a side of dayum”.
