# Am I bizarre for waxing my arm hair?

Everyone always screeches at me like I’m some big weirdo for shaving my arms, which I don’t get at all. My arm hair naturally is actually sort of blonde and fine (surprising, what with me being southern Italian and all), but I just like how it feels when my arms and legs are all smooth and I can flop myself on my bed.

I always hear: “OMG! Doesn’t it grow back thicker?!” Nope, still soft, sparse, and blonde.

and

“Ew, but you probably have to shave ALL the time!” Also nope, I shave probably once every two or three months (my arms, that is).
