# Am I doing something wrong?

So I click on a thread, read it, and then to get back to the forum I click on my back arrow. That brings me all the way back to the first thread in the forum and then I have to scroll down to find the spot I left off at. Is there some magical spot I should be clicking to get to where I left off?

I don’t think so. But you could open the thread in a new tab, then close the tab when you’ve finished reading it, and continue with the first tab.

Instead of the back button, which sometimes does not take you where you expected, I learned that just typing lower case u will take you back one step.
