If I navigate away from SDMB, does my little green dot go away at that time? Or does it stay on for a bit? Often, especially when I’m working or running an errand, I’ll leave SDMB open. Do I still show as being here, when I haven’t clicked on anything for an hour or so? ---

As long as you’re logged in, you’re green. I think you get auto logged out after 30 min. ---

Open a different browser (one that doesn’t automatically log you in) and check repeatedly over the course of say, an hour, to see how long it takes for you to vanish. Good luck. ---
