It seems like there are a shit load of old threads being resurrected in all forums in the last couple months. Many that are 5-10yrs+ old. Had it always been like this and I’m just now noticing or is it some recent trend? ---

I’ve noticed that too, and it seems to be done primarily by spammers. ---

Most of the zombie threads are resurrected by brand new posters, who either ignore or don’t notice the dates on the thread. I just asked that question in another thread, wondering what IS it about April and May that brings out all the zombies and newbies? ---

If you’re new to the board (or any boards), there’s a lot to learn, and the reflex of checking the date doesn’t come naturally. Heck, some boards haven’t been around long enough to have zombies. ---
