Or does no one care? Nobody is very likable but there are two “baddies” David the Douche: With all of the head-flailing and over-exaggerated expressions, I hope it’s an act and that he sees himself as the next reality-TV star to win an Emmy. Mad Mahsa: This is her strategy - talk over everyone else so that her’s is the only voice heard. Combine that with a voice that makes Fran Drescher wince and she easily wins “Most Annoying”. Sad part is that she is more of an alpha male than most (all) of the guys. ---

Mahsa managed to get herself fired by appearing on the show. So Trump’s attempt to decrease unemployment through his show failed. My God, that woman (Kelly?) should have been eliminated because her voice sounds like she has a kazoo stuffed up each nostril and is wearing a surgical mask over her mouth. I even checked my sound settings on my TV to see if they had gotten screwed up. Holy shit. ---

It seems like they haven’t really been promoting it this season. The only reason I even knew it was on was because I happened to catch it after Outsourced the other night. ---

The guys brought in about triple the money of the women, though (the teams had to run a pedicab company, which is pretty much a tourist draw, and the women stupidly set up on Wall Street, which isn’t a big tourist area), so Dave was safe, and Kelly, the project manager, got fired. ---

Dave wants to be the male Omarosa so they’ll keep him around for the drah-mah. Kelly seems nice, but needs throat surgery. Or something. ---

I caught the tail end of this week’s episode while I was out of town, and was mildly intrigued. Downloaded the season thus far, and I’m up to episode 4. Good lord, Trump has managed to find him a world class assortment of douchebags and assholes. As mentioned upthread, Dave is angling to be the next Omarosa/Puck. He’s a dick par excellence, and unlike O, he can’t pull off professional. And what’s with that Jersey Shore hairdo? He’s about 15 years too old for that. It seemed like they were trying to portray him as a guy to feel sorry for in the first episode, before just letting his dickitude show. He’s definitely hateable. ---

Let me be the first to say: Shut the fuck up, Mahsa! Let’s see… you have a promising job as an assistant DA in Brooklyn, you weave a fabricated story about how you needed a leave from that job and then get demoted… and then you quit. All to be on a fuckin’ reality show. Now I freely admit that I am not a CEO, and I have no idea how much credibility appearing on The Apprentice will earn you… but unless you’re like that guy Kwame or Kendra from a few seasons back, I would say, not a whole lot. The show isn’t there to make you look good. It’s there to make you look like a jackass, which you were all too willing to provide ammo for. I don’t doubt that Trump is a sexist; any fool can tell that by the elementary school set up with the teams, men vs. women. How about mixed gender teams? He regularly makes sexist, heterosexist comments in the boardroom. No surprises there. I think you knew what you were getting into when you signed up. But I saw you participate in two tasks where the women’s team decided to use sex appeal to win the task, which I imagine sets back equality for women in business a billion years. I can’t see Carly Fiorino or Meg Whitman ever endorsing the idea of giving sexy pedicab rides to Wall Street businessmen. But you elected to be part of those tasks, and I never heard you object. You have your own ethically suspect actions to explain - why you lied to your bosses at the DA’s office. You already demonstrated yourself to be a backstabber, turning on your teammate just a week after skipping out of the boardroom hand in hand. _Please._ Anyway, if you are a serious lawyer, what the fuck were you doing on The Apprentice? “America’s Next Top Lawyer,” I get, but if you wanted to get some recognition for your business acumen, why not, you know, go earn an MBA from a great school? That having been said, Mahsa is as hot as all get out. And as pathetic as her “I wanna be a talk show host” next steps segment was, I think someone will take her up as an on-air personality. PS - Just want to note that the voices of the women on this season’s are among the worst I’ve ever heard.
