Aren’t the last 3 of the OP’s 4 links all about one incident? She got into trouble in high school for assaulting a classmate, and she got arrested for assaulting her nephew, but the charges were dropped. Not a nice person, but I don’t see how that justifies her being locked up. ---

Yep, she’s a deranged crazy ass bitch who needs to be in an orange jumpsuit. But what pisses me off even more than her actions is the protection the team gives her…to make sure she can play in a game. It’s a freakin’ game, you douchebags. And it’s not a professional team, she’s representing the U.S. Kick her ass off the team. That’s making good use of her stardom. Fuck her. I hope she quickly founds herself in a situation she deserves. ---

I was saying we shouldn’t dismiss the entire team on her account, and that in the last 3 games she wasn’t the hero of the game and positive attention wasn’t being heaped on her. Yes, golden glove. But the team did a hell of a job keeping it down-field too. The games I saw were not the Hope Solo Show. ---

I’m from the Northwest, and the majority of the people I know are decedents of miners, loggers, farmers and fisherman. We’ve been known to drink a lot and sometimes get in fights. I’ve been to 2 family gatherings in the past year where punches were thrown. This wouldn’t be a story if it didn’t come on the heels of the NFLs issues or didn’t involve a famous person. We don’t ignore our underclass, we are them, or one generation removed from them. ---
