I think my movie collection consists of a whopping 10 movies. Not that I necessarily don’t like movies, I just for some reason seem to have trouble sitting and watching something for 2 hours straight. I’m kinda jonesing to see Sin City, though. If I rent it it’ll probably be my first movie rental in 3 years. ---

I don’t much care for movies either. Partly it’s because there’s not much coming out that looks decent or original. Also, I get bored very quickly if the movie gets off to a slow start. I think I’ve been a bit spoiled by so much reading. If you’re reading a book and the author spends too much time describing the sunset, you can just skim ahead to where something starts happening again. A lot of movies seem to start off with a scene like, say, a guy packing a suitcase, and you don’t know who he is or where he’s going. I’ll watch about 60 seconds of that before I decide I don’t feel like wasting an hour and a half on the rest of the story.
