I love candy corn and mellocreme pumkins…as do others, I look forward to that time of the year. But it makes me sick and my teeth hurt somethin’ awful if I overdo it!! Oh, I like the circus peanuts, too. ---

Why are they tri-colored, anyway? I’ve never seen real corn that looks like that, and I’m assuming that it’s supposed to be realistic-looking. And I myself think candy corn tastes like chalk. ---

I love circus peanuts. As a kid I use to go to the story to buy them without understanding tax, and they would tell me what it cost and I’d be about 15 cents short. Peeps are great too. But, it’s best to keep them out of their wrap for a day or two to get them hard. ---

Mmmmmmmmmmm… candy corn! 😃 Yes, Brach’s is great – accept no substitutes. I start at the point and work up. Although If I get the kind with the “chocolate” top, I will sometimes bite that off first. In either direction, it’s vital to nip each segment exactly at the color-change line. Why, I don’t know, since the entire kernel tastes the same. But so it is. 😉 ---

I just finished 2 big bags of candy corn (not all at once! :eek: ) and am planning to get more. It’s the highlight of autumn. I’ll bite off the too-sweet white and orange parts and stick the yellows together (yummmm). Is it just me though, or do they kinda look like teeth? ---

Basically, it’s sugar, water, and corn syrup, with a bit of marshmallow and fondant (a thick, creamy sugar paste) thrown in. Highly nutritious, as you can see! Where you can get it, from your location, is a question I can’t answer, alas! ---

I like the whole brach’s Autumn Mix. Candy corn with both the yellow and chocolate bottoms and the pumpkins too. I eat them from the wide part up one color at a time. When my boys were little I’d but the white part on my eyeteeth and pretend to be a vampire and chase them around the house. 🙂 ---

Years ago, I established a tradition. I will eat candy corn between October first and thirty-first. And at no other time. Why? Oct. 1 - “Candy corn! Yummy confection of the gods! How I revel in each sparkling morsel, how I rejoice as I feel you rot my teeth! You are truly an astounding concoction! Let praise be heaped upon you from all the corners of the earth, and pity on the places where they know you not!” _consumed - 1 bag Brach’s Candy Corn_ Oct. 5 - “Candy corn, as much as I love thee, I must have some of this intensely delicious Indian corn! It is pure heaven, how these mysterious chefs at Brachs have compounded the deliciousness that is candy corn with the sinful sensationalism of chocolate. Praise their names to the heavens!” _Consumed - 1 bag Brachs Indian Corn_ Oct. 7 - “I have partaken of the pure, unsullied Candy corn. I have eaten of the dark, rich Indian Corn. And yet, there is a lack in my life, a void that must be filled. But by what? … aha! Little candy corn pumpkins! Oh, sweet, sweet bliss…” _Consumed - 1 bag Brachs Autumn Mix_ Oct. 12 - “Candy corn… how I love thee. Yum.” _Consumed - half a bag or so of Brachs candy corn._ Oct. 20 - “Candy corn?
