Am I the only one who thinks "Munich" is a boring movie?

One of those rare exceptions where the sequel proved superior. Mockingbird 2: White Vengeance remains Michael Bay’s finest oeuvre, for my money.

Yikes, I loved “The Good Shepherd”, too. I must be a really boring person!

It’s a fine film but I can only sit through it once. I prefer my CIA movies to be more Jason Bourne than Jason Boring.
I enjoyed Munich, but it is a very heavy movie and you need to be in the right frame of mind to watch it for three hours.

I didn’t like the movie much. I also thought it was boring. I watched it because it was based on a book I read about 15 years ago titled “Vengeance: The True Story Of An Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team” by George Jonas. I recommend that book highly.

I was reminded by this of the Derek Malcolm Test for movies: “A great movie is a movie I cannot bear the thought of never seeing again.”

I enjoyed Munich, but would never see it again…

Hey, give him a break. Schindler isn’t worthy to lick Showgirl’s sweaty g-string.

After all, this is not a man given to presenting counterintuitive interpretations of films based on personal biases and outlandish extrapolation.

See, I’m trying to have a civilized, grownup conversation here, but you seem to be pretty firmly invested in your snark.

Cafe Society is not meant for discussion about the other posters. Whether you’re intentionally mocking someone or implying that they’re being childish, keep it confined to the Pit. Whether you like the other poster(s) is irrelevant; their history on this board, what you feel their personality is, none of it needs to be brought up in a Cafe Society discussion. You can disagree without reverting to insults, snark or condescension; and if you can’t, then start a thread in the Pit and keep it out of this forum.
