Tom Cruise? I’ve been known to avoid movies he’s in just because he’s in them. Brad Pitt? I have no idea what his appeal is, but at least I don’t avoid him. Leo? Too young and arrogant for me. Now Dean Cain, there’s a nice looking man! ---

I don’t like Tom Cruise. I find him and Brad Pitt and Leonardo to be “pretty” and “archetypical” which in my book means “boring in the sack”. 😉 Russell Crowe does nothing for me, especially since I’ve never seen him in a movie where he wasn’t playing the life and death out of his character via whispering. Christ almighty, he treated Mystery, Alaska like it was Citizen Kane. Note to Russell Crowe: EASE UP I prefer men who are slightly quirky, slightly evil and look like they could throw me around a little bit, perhaps yank my hair in the heat of passion. I have a strange and embarrassing attraction to both Arnold Schwarzenegger AND…yes…yes, the ever erascible Jean Claude Van Damme. Gary Sinise is very very very very hot…but pretty short. The ideal man for me is one that no one knows, the lead singer of Rammstein, Till Lindemann. I’m drooling right now just thinking about him. lord deliver me a green eyed German. guh. Am I rambling? You should be! I love him. I mean I haven’t really seen any of his movies and I don’t **obssess** over the guy, but he is sexy. 🙂 I thought he looked great in Magnolia. Alrightin the Magonlia commercials. 😛 (Didn’t even know it was him actually, until later on.) But come on…sure, I’m not into those “all purpose” hunks; i like to be attracted to original guys- but still, I must admit he’s nice. ---

I know it may seem shallow of me, but I think Keanu Reeves and Brendan Frasier are hot shit. Sure, they are both dumber than a box of rocks, but I wouldn’t be with them for their brains 😛 On that note, I think I’m going to watch the Matrix again. (pant pant) ---

My distaste for Tom Cruise doesn’t rise to the level of repulsion. More like boredom. Aidan Quinn, on the other hand… This was one of my major problems with _Legends of the Fall_ – why the hell would any woman who _had_ Aidan Quinn even turn her head to look at _Brad Pitt_? Inconceivable. Which brings me to Mandy Patinkin, whom I would also do in a New York minute. And Jeremy Northam. Oh, Nicholas Cage, too. And Dennis Quaid, circa _The Big Easy_. Let’s see, who else? Oh yeah – ever since he took his shirt off a couple episodes ago, I’m having a serious lech for the guy who plays Lou, the ex-fiance, on _That’s Life_. I don’t know his name is, but he can join my queue anytime. Finally, my hall-of-fame, all-time most gorgeous guy ever vote goes to: Paul Newman, circa _The Long, Hot Summer_. Paul Newman in his 30s was, and I believe I’ve mentioned this before, the pinnacle of male evolution. Tom Who? ---

I used to hate Tom Cruise when I was younger. Then I saw “A Few Good Men” and thought, “Not bad.” Then I saw “Interview with a Vampire” and thought, “Actually, he can be pretty good looking sometimes.” Then I saw “Mission:Impossible” and I developed a crush. Go figure. Brad Pitt: Sometimes he’s hot, sometimes he’s icky. There is no middle ground for me. Harrison Ford: Yes, he’s older than my dad. I don’t are. Mmm. Russell Crowe: I really don’t get this. Honestly. What’s so great about him? Eric Stoltz: Oh, could a guy be any cuter? Aidan Quinn: sigh… Leo Dicaprio: Ick! Gross! What is he, like 12? Dean Cain: With glasses on (like Clark Kent), he’s gorgeous! Without, he’s okay. Kevin Costner: I am just totally repulsed by him. I see no redeeming qualities at all. Mel Gibson: He’s just so dreamy… Okay, enough comments on the ones already named. My favorite actor is Sean Astin (the guy who played “Rudy”). I also happen to find him totally irresistable. Also, Bruce Willis, but only when he’s not wearing fake hair. Well, except in the “Fifth Element.” I liked that. And Harry Connick Jr. He’s gorgeous enough, but when he sings, I melt. Oh, and Matthew Broderick. I’ve always thought he was such a cutie-pie! Oh, and you know that guy Chris Klein? He was in “Election” and “American Pie.” Oh, he’s just so…mmmmmmmmmmmm. Sorry for getting so carried away. This is a subject I feel strongly about 🙂 ---

Tom Cruise circa Top Gun, Days of Thunder, etc. – yummy, yummy. Tom Cruise lately – not my cup o’ tea. He’s looking a little sickly to me. Others who don’t do it for me: Brad Pitt, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Segall. Currently on the “to do” list: Russell Crowe (my god, Gladiator gave me the kind of gut physical reaction I haven’t had to movie stars since I was 16). John Cusack – in a hot second. Kevin Bacon – in less than a hot second. And Brendan Fraser – I’m not looking for a conversation 🙂 ---

And here I thought I was the only woman on the planet besides my mother who was repulsed by Brad Pitt. We are not alone! Yay! I can’t explain it…I look at him, and my first reaction is, “Ick.” Mel Gibson though…_melts_ Tom Cruise is okay. He doesn’t do much for me. Leonardo DiCaprio – I’m not twelve anymore, okay? And I think he’s prettier than I am. That is just not right. Harrison Ford…ooh, NICE. And back about 1980, even NICER. I don’t usually like guys that are that much older than me, but…mmm.
