Blaming things on PMS is not fair ball in my house - I don’t do it, and neither does my husband. Nobody gets carte blanche on their behaviour because it’s _that time of the month_.

The issue of his being respectful to other people would be a big issue to me, but your mileage may be varying.

Wait a second–he’s blaming _his_ bad behavior on _you_? And on a physiological state you were in, at that? I would _not_ be happy with this if I were you. In fact, I would very much be not happy with this if I were you.

Even if you were a complete emotional wreck at the time, that’s no excuse for him to be behaving like a child. Look–if you had a whiny, miserable kid with you whose snivelling was _seriously getting on everyone’s nerves_, or if the car broke down in the middle of nowhere in truly terrible weather, would that give your husband license to throw a tantrum? No, of course not. Having you, his wife, with him doesn’t excuse him from civilized behavior, either.

I would not take this as a good sign.

But, as **featherlou** pointed out–YMM (and perhaps does) V.
