If I remember correctly, Lake and Michelle were actually in the lead at the “Find Phil” point. What the heck happened to them in Red Square? Did they turn left again? Re: Ray and Yolanda. Ray said last night that they’ve been “long distance dating” for five years. That might explain why they don’t really know each other well enough to make the right decisions in this race. I actually didn’t mind that last night was a “to-be-continued” episode. There’s no team that I really can’t stand. . . although the Pink Double D Girls come close. They look strong physically, but losing that Amazing Bag was a real blunder. The TBC will really help them, I think. ---

Since nobody else has commented: Having seen Lori without her baggy clothes and nerd glasses, only a swimsuit, I’m ready to declare \*her \* the hottest Racer of this series. Don’t hide it, girl, \*use \* it! **Robot Arm** , the Avus track is long gone, isn’t it? They were definitely riding Mercedes cars, and I think I’ve seen that track in commercials, so I’ll go with Stuttgart. ---

And another thing. . . does it bother anybody else that Monica calls Joseph “Joseph” all the time? It bugs me. Ya’d think she would call him “Joe” once in a while. ---

That’s what I thought, but I did a google search and found out it had been used for touring cars until about 10 years ago. Who knows if it’s been torn down; it might be open to the public. Does Mercedes have their own track in Stuttgart? If they do, that’s probably where they’re going. Which brings up an interesting question. What things have you all done that would make a good Detour or Road Block; or just places you’ve been that would be good on the race? And **Elvis** , some of us like glasses. ---

Okay, I’d read somewhere that the Berlin Wall had been built across the Avus track. I like glasses too, if they’re \*good \* ones. Certainly they can make the wearer hotter. Lori, though, wears unattractive ones, along with unattractive clothing, and to such an excess that it has to be a conscious act. ---

I just watched it again with my kids (I have to tape it for them - they go to bed earlier), and during the Lake Gets Lost bit, Lake was actually turning the wheel to the right, and Michelle said, “Yeah, turn right” and he then jerked it left. It’s like he can’t let her be right about anything. What an ass. And yes, when they read the RoadBlock hint, “Who want to take the plunge?”, they were at least smart enough to figure out it would involve swimming, and Michelle got this horrified look on her face and said, “What if I have to do it nekkid?!?” Come on, they make you do scary things and eat gross stuff, but they’d never humiliate you. And after it was over she made snide little comment about not wanting ‘those Russians’ to see her in a bathing suit. I wonder why Lake was so opposed to going to Russia? ---

Am I the only one who get a strong ex-military vibe from Lake? I just figured he was still nursing a grudge from the Cold War. ---
