How do you feel about smearing feces onto walls? Cause they sure did a lot of that on the last leg.

If I’m in a race for a million dollars, I’m peeing on the damn building.

I missed that! Great line.

Somehow my husband has missed the elevnty-seven times the words “Dating Goths” have appeared beneath their names this season and when they were on before. When Vyxxxxsin said that, he goggled and said, “What…what? Romantic? _Them??!_”

Allegdly, said I.

I definitely need to redirect you to the post where the phrase sneak-bragging was coined. I…just don’t think that qualifies. 😉

FWIW, **MPB** , Amazing Race threads are frequently peppered with peoples’ experiences in the places the Race visits. Well, not mine, because I’ve hardly been anywhere, even Spokane, but others’. That’s part of what makes it _fun_.

Perhaps I would too. I wouldn’t claim that made it okay.

That schnitzel reminded me of the schnitzel I once ate while visiting in Bad Nauheim, Germany. It was different for us, though, in that we shortly thereafter took the train for a weekend in Paris, rather than carrying a couch through Vienna.

> Yeah, it wasn’t ideal, but I’d rather someone pee in a public location than against the wall of someone’s house, y’know?

It was also winter and snow was intermittently falling–pee washes right off, so…who cares?

Man, I’m sick of Kynt and Vixen. He’s approaching Flo (of Flo and Zach) level of whiney pissiness.

I like the competitave comraderie on this season–it’s something we haven’t seen in years–the teams realizing that they can be civil to each other and grown-ups and friendly, but still race. I love that there’s zero inter-team draaaaama this season.

I also like the fact that the clues seem a bit harder that “go here/do this” and the challenges are more than “Strap yourself in. Be ballast while someone else does something”.

The product placment is way, WAY over the top this time around and clunky (the repeated Phil’s speech shilling that new Ford voice activated thing 3 times in 3 minutes and then again at the end…poorly done) but as good as this season’s been otherwise, I can handle it. At least there’s no more “Go to Paraguay where Gnomes are a traditional symbol of good luck and find your Travelocty Gnome” crap–the product placement isn’t affecting the game all THAT much…even the Snapple wasn’t too intrusive and they needed cars anyway)

Well done, sir.

I forgot to mention how pleased I was that Zev and Justin won the cars. I have a little bit of a blind/soft spot where they’re concerned, in that I just want Zev to have a happy life and feel more comfortable in his own skin, and I think Justin is pretty awesome.

I came into this season rooting for the Cowboys, with the Globetrotters in the #2 position, but I would be all kinds of happy if Zev and Justin won.

Does Vyxsin not know how to drive? It seems like Kent is always driving while she is navigating, then they either get lost because she can’t read the map or she’s screaming at him because he’s not following her directions. I can’t figure out why she doesn’t grab the wheel sometimes and let him take the back seat.

In Kent’s defense, that time they got spectacularly lost in Japan was Vyxyn’s fault. She sent them in the wrong direction for hours and hours and he kept pretty calm while she had a nervous breakdown.

To be fair, her nervous breakdown was because she felt guilty because she messed up on the directions. But it seems like she was trying to determine north and south by way of a little handheld compass. I’ve never tried to navigate in a country where all the street signs are in both another language and another alphabet, working from the backseat at that, but I can’t imagine that it’s terribly easy. (The need to put the cameraperson in the passenger seat is not really a great aid toward the navigator being able to see where they’re going.)

I’ll tell you what though, that limited edition TAR Snapple flavor is awesome!

This was the jaw-dropping line for me. Stated by a former beauty pageant model. She said it so casually, as if to say, purging a big meal is not that big a deal for me, and I know exactly how my body reacts when I do it. Wow.

ISTR that on Teym Gyth’s first appearance, Vyxyn had a nervous breakdown while driving because she’d “been up for 20 hours straight!” Failure to read Rule 1 indeed.
