Actually, IMO whoever comes in last for the NEL this time is better off because they won’t have stuff to cart around for the last little bit of the race. That’s got to make things easier. ---

Yeah, but there’s usually a cab ride or two near the end, and those folks do like to get paid for their efforts. ---

That’s got to make things easier. Well, my guess is tonight will be an extended double leg, like India or Budapest last year, instead of a traditional NEL. It seems like too big a disadvantage to strip someone naked so close to the finish line, especially with only three teams left. On the other hand, when they came up with this new “mugging” rule, they probably had no idea that taking away all your belongings actually makes you go faster! 😃 ---

Phil has said specifically, “The X of three nonelimination legs.” And the last one when Ron & Kelly got stripped was “the second of three nonelimination legs.” So I’m willing to bet we’ll see the third one at the end of the first hour. Besides: There are photos online of Uchenna & bald Joyce running into an airport, I believe in Puerto Rico or possibly Jamaica, with no possessions except small bags. And the person who saw them said the entered the airport with just what’s shown in the photos. ---

Remember that girl you knew in high school who somehow managed to be involved in everything and make it to all the parties even though _nobody_ you knew liked her? Katie is Survivor’s version of that. The only Survivor in history to ever _gain_ weight over the course of the show. And I managed not to mention Ian at all. 🙂 But I love him. ---
