# AMAZING RACE Makes CBS Fall Lineup

I am amazed!  
My favorite summer show, THE AMAZING RACE, has made it onto CBS’s fall lineup. It will air Saturdays at 8pm, central time. The time slot is not good, but I’m just glad I can follow it and a bunch of new racers into the fall!  
Finally, a smart show that’s fun to watch!

Does this mean that they aren’t running in July like the promo said?

I don’t think so. AR5 is still listed on the CBS website with a notation that the new teams of racers are going to be introduced June 4.

According to [Fans of Reality TV](http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29751), its season _six_ that’s premiering in the fall. Season five is still scheduled to debut on July 6th – or at least I couldn’t find any cite contradicting that.

Saturday’s a sucky timeslot, though…seems like CBS is determined to make this show fail! Oh well, at least it won’t be running against _The West Wing_…

The good thing about Saturday night is that it won’t but up against anything else worth watching, and I won’t be home so it’ll be TiVo’d – so I don’t even have to sit through the commercials. Back-to-back races? Cool!
