I think a lost kindle (or a handheld gaming device) in a different country airport was safely located by a local doper and returned to owner in U.S. or something along similar lines. ---

There was some guy in a picture of a signing of a social security application? I think his last name was Brooks. I can’t remember the topic, but eh SS Administration was notified of who the people thought it was but for some reason the SSA hasn’t updated their web site or rejected the identification? ---

I couldn’t find the thread but I remember one within the last year where the OP was trying to identify an unknown person that was in a group celebrity photo (I think it was one of those group photos with the maharishi from back in the 60’s, or something similar). Over the course of a weekend I think they managed to figure out who the unknown person was. If anyone else knows what I’m talking about and can link to the thread, I’d be grateful. ---
