I’m not sure why they’re doing it (other than as a response to accusations of wasting cardboard), but they started before the lockdown. The first one I saw was a 2-piece plane pattern that could be cut out and assembled. Didn’t fly, but you could swoop it around and go mrrrrowwww, if you wanted.
Ooo! I want an airplane.
Ya know, Becks, there are any number of programs out there that can help you manage your passwords and will even generate new ones for you. Of course, you need a password to get *in *to them, too, but you could try using a passphrase instead.
I like to use quotes (or misquotes) from books or movies. For example, (and this is not my password or even remotely similar to it), you could use a phrase like, “That’s putting it mildly, 007.” If you need symbols because of the site’s requirements, leet it a bit to “Th@t’s putting it m!ldly, 007.”
“Wish I had a million bucks! Hee Haw!”
I got a box from Amazon. Sadly no cute cutouts
The kids were down-hearted.
But it was stuff for them so they got happy.
So we’ve spent the afternoon stamping with rubber stamps and ink. I gotta order more cheap paper.
The pandemic has turned me into the school Art teacher. :smack:
Buy a roll of butcher paper. I got one from Sam’s Club.
But I never, ever got cute cut-outs.

Good idea, ~VOW, you have the best ideas. Thank you.
You can trace around cookie cutters to make cutouts with your Amazon boxes.
(Now I have to go look at my cookie cutters. I remember thinking about getting a traffic cone cookie cutter, but I don’t remember if I actually got one, or just thought about it.)
Yllaria, I have a box full of cookie cutters. I got them out and the kids used them like stamps with the ink pads. Then they colored them. My oldest grand-daughter did a truly amazing still-life like picture.
I really think she has an artist’s eye.
I was careful and didn’t over brag on hers. The others did good, too.
The cookie cutters were a great idea. Thx.
ETA: we’re planning an art show!!
I got goodies from Amazon yesterday!
When I make my AM slushie, I add a scoop of whey protein isolate powder. I’m getting to the bottom of the can, and the little Amazon implant in my brain said I should look for more.
I’m about halfway in the opened can of NIDO, so I figured I needed to buy another.
When you tell Amazon to,search for “whole dried milk,” you get the proverbial kitchen sink. It was a fun browse!
Of course, I’m making bread. And I’m doing the lion’s share of cooking.
Oooh, buttermilk powder! click
Coconut milk powder! click
Coconut CREAM powder! click
All that came yesterday. When I opened the box holding the whey protein, I laughed and laughed! It’s a FIVE POUND JAR!
Most of the protein supplements are marketed to body builders, or folks on specific diets. I didn’t want all the typical additives, like flavor, artificial sweeteners, or any other folderol. So when I found just plain old whey protein, all by itself, I went click
I’ll probably have to store it under the bed!

The COTUs?
Some of their other products are creepier!
We’re getting Da Jungle gift cards from irk. Being both a non-prime member (they stated we get lower priority) who was thinking about looking for something non-essential (which is also lower priority) I’m wondering if I can get something delivered in time for Xmas???
50x error dupe
Acckk…sorry, Spidey. I used to add this at the bottom of every post where I mention COTU.
“COTU is a nickname for the grandkids. When the first one came along, since she was the fist grandkid on both sides of the family, we called her Center of the Universe, or COTU. Because she was! We have a total of three grandkids now, hence, COTU#1, COTU#2, COTU#3 .”

I knew what they were, but ‘my’ reading of it is also a way to stop scary BANGs…permanently!
Spidey, I think you can get a free month of Prime. Just remember to unsubscribe at the end of the month.
I’ve had it, dropped it, re-upped, and unsubscribed several times. Don’t use a CC as your default payment. I use a limited amount Debit card, or I’d order everything my little heart has a hankering for. I’m kinda out of control. :D…bad, bad, bad.
They have been doing this on boxes for years. I used to get the cut-out cardboard airplanes. Once I got a mask. I don’t know what triggers these boxes or if it is totally random because out of maybe 100 boxes of assorted sizes, I probably got 7 or 8 with cut-outs.
A friend of my sister’s works at one of the warehouses. I’ll see if she knows.
I havn’t gotten anymore.
While I’ve ordered 1000s of things from Amazon I had never seen the cut-outs before. Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention.
(:))
My baguette pan came today!
I was watching Blues Brothers today while searching Amazon for something that was actually necessary, and ended up ordering a Harmonica as well. Seems kinda appropriate to learn a few blues riffs while I sit in Covid jail
I had an alert that something* I ordered was coming today. Hasn’t showed up yet. They better hurry.
*a pair of shorts.
