You’re beginning to veer into the twilight zone here, JJ. This has nothing to do with “commitment to goals” but with awareness of facts, something the xenophobes who put together your website are sorely lacking in.
Your ad hominem attacks about my firm are barely even worth debating, but if you knew anything about how immigration law actually works, you’d know that good firms are extremely careful about NOT allowing their clients to circumvent the law or try to get in through loopholes, since it’s very easy for the INS to deport or exclude an alien whom they consider to be attempting to violate immigration laws.
An illegal immigrant will be allowed to give birth in a hospital but a legal citizen without money won’t? If this actually happens, no, it’s not fair. I’d like to see evidence that it does though.
I believe in a national, single-payer health plan. I believe we eliminate this unfairness by providing free medical care to everyone - not by taking it away from some.
FAIR attempts to enlighten people to the abuses of our current UNCONTROLLED immigration policy. We need at least a five year moritoreum on ALL immigration to study the effects of continued immigration into this country at current levels. We are not xenophobes but want a rational policy with a realistic immigration quota. The current 985,000 is too high. A return to the traditional levels of 390,000 is preferred and in line with our death rate.
Xenophobes want NO immigration, we are saying immigration can be beneficial but in controlled amounts.
