I still don’t get your point. I specifically talked about the logistics of this. It wasn’t a pro-forma paperwork excercise. The problem was a limited time frame and the solution was created and implemented wihin that time frame.

My favorite part of these ‘US military has/needs/gets the best of the best healthcare’ discussions is that the US military is one of the very few parts of the US system that have* socialized medicine*.

Actually, he got the best of the best logistical support. It was German Doctors who operated on the British soldier. It was US logistics that connected the two entities.
