# America in the next 50 years

Umm, if Putin or Bush are still in power in 20 years it would mean that the government of both nations have collapsed.

Funny you should ask how the US will be in 50 years…The Economist has an [interesting article](http://economist.com/displaystory.cfm?story_id=1291056) regarding the demographic trends of the US vs. the EU.

The sum of it: Things could be very good for the US. Or very bad. It all depends. Madame Cleo they are not! 😉
