I just now heard on CNN Trump state that America is the greatest country on Earth. And then Don Lemon repeated this comment and agreed with it. There is literally no metric available anywhere to substantiate this claim. Greatest in military spending and incarceration rates, sure. Congratulations. How delusional are you Americans? I’m sorry, but I’m sick of this bullshit. There are probably a dozen other countries that are better to live in. This American’s gotta agree, OP. And in regards to what **tomndebb** said, the “Greatest Country” idea is not confined to our dumbest citizens, and certainly not to a small percentage of super-nationalists. It’s a sentiment that is held pretty widely, and I’d guess if you walked in to a randomly chosen bar somewhere in the US and stated the contrary you’d at best end up sitting by yourself at the seat next to the server stand for the rest of the evening. ---

Well for America being so shitty there sure are a lot of motherfuckers clamoring and spilling through our borders risking death and the deaths of their children to come here, I guess it’s easy to mock our country when you’ve grown up in our excess and hedonism, wonder what they’re having for dinner tonight in Venezuela. To be real, maybe we’re not the best but America is a long way from the bottom. ---
