Of course, the rant itself was weak and admittedly half-hearted, though I don’t see this as a crippling strike against her. She’s also French-Canadian, and most of my in-laws are of similar stock, so again, bad\*, but not devastating. All in all, I’d say we got a winner here, friends an’ neighbors. I like the OP. It’s aware of the vagaries of the board, is sarcastic and vaguely amusing. BTW, **Meteorshower** , I use “USians” on the SDMB to describe Citizens of the United States of America, though some of them feign incomprehension. ---
