Filadelfia is a small municipality in Italy named after the US city
You’re probably not going to get much except for those in Canada. I did the same list for Canadian cities, but it was voted off the island. I don’t remember how many Canadian cities were named for American ones, but it was roughly the same as the reverse.
I believe that voted-off pages can be restored on Wikipedia, but I don’t know the exact procedure. If anyone wants to try it, let me know and I’ll vote in favor.
Filadelfia is the only one in Europe, since nearly all municipalities in Europe are older than this in the US.
There’s a Lima, IL which is pronounced like the Peruvian city as far as I know.
My wife, who is Peruvian, made me stop the car so she could get a photo by the “Welcome to Lima” sign.
