She could definitely sing, though, and I was surprised that Cara and Paula were \*that \* resistant to her. At the same time, she clearly had no interest in what anyone had to say. Her dismissive reaction to Cara DioGuardi doesn’t speak well for her chances of success in the competition or in her career. She’s an OK singer, but she’s not good enough to ignore advice from people who’ve actually made it. ---

Okay, nerd guy is my favorite so far. I hate how Simon automatically can’t stand anyone with any degree of dorkiness, with the exception of that random Young Republican last year who wasn’t very good. I have no idea why Simon liked that dude. ---

So far I’m likin Ink Blot von Bandkiller and the young dark haired girl (Arianna?). For guys I’m gonna say Oil Derrick and Horrorboy. I don’t think they seem very versatile though. ---

I love the early tryouts with the bad singers. They had some real bad singers this year. It will be hard to find worse ones in the next couple weeks. ---

The singers this time weren’t anywhere as bad as we’ve seen. When did Starbuck(Kara) start judging? I see that they were in Arizona on July 25, so she was on board then. Was she a judge at the San Fransisco audition on July 17? Yes, I’m forcing Starbuck as Kara’s nickname. 🙂 ---

Bikini girl had a great ass. They should have stipulated that she has to keep wearing a bikini as long as she keeps advancing in the competition. The faux-rocker guy was just embarrasing. Was deep-voice guy for real? The “grandfriend” girl was cute and nice. I’ll be rooting for her. Blind guy has a good voice. He needs a makeover, but he could go far. ---

Just popped in to reassure you that I’ll be back this year - now with DVR! Bwa ha haa. And I look forward very much to the Idol Prediction Game. 🆒 Liked: Inkblot von Bandkiller. Horrorboy. Nerd. Blind guy. New judge. Rooting for Roughneck to get past Hollywood. Reserving judgment: Grandfriend kid. She’s fine and cute and all, but something seems fake about her. Five bucks said she had some sort of kid career - modeling, pageants, something like that - in her past. Decent voice though. She’ll probably make the finals. Did anyone else think that her mom looks like a Bill Plympton cartoon? Hated with the heat of 1000 burning suns: bikini girl. I know you fellas were struck deaf by her fabulous ass, but she was _terrible_ - all that awful melisma or whatever that is called. Just not good. And she’s got that _face de la bitch_ look. I will enjoy rooting for her fiery, painful death for many weeks to come (I’m feeling nostalgic for Kellie Pickler all of the sudden). And I, for one, am rejoicing at **Biggirl** ’s return, especially since we seem to be agreeing so far. 😃 ---

The Deep Voiced Guy kinda gave me the creeps. I didn’t care much for the girl in the jean shorts but she won’t last anyway. The problem with Bikini Bitch is that she could have made it on the strength of her voice alone, but she intended that everyone should bow to her hotness. I think she expected Ryan to be a lot more grateful. The fact that they are selling me the Gentle Roughneck so hard makes me not want to like him. If he starts singing a lot of country music (Who am I kidding? What else would he sing?), he’s had it! ---

That’s exactly the kind of description I was trying to come up with for her… And for the record, I’ll be refusing to call Bikini Girl anything but Seizure Girl. What the _fuck_ was with that twitchy head-shaking affect she had going on? Crapbags like her are the one of the lowest life forms in my world – she’s nowhere near as attractive nor as talented as she suspects. She might’ve had a mildly reasonable chance of actually _deserving_ to make it to Hollywood had she come in like a non-piece-of-crap, but apparently she decided the “ball of fire, flaming out in the next round” approach was the better idea. Kara’s stock dipped 10% for me when she felt she had to take her on, but then climbed 1,000% when she called her “Bitch…” Also, if anyone still has this on DVR, take another listen to pink cowboy hat/songwriter girl. Close your eyes, and picture Weird Al singing. It’s uncanny. ---

While watching Horrorboy, TheKid said “If that’s a girl, she’s pretty. If that’s a boy, he’s HAWT”. So, despite her prior refusal to watch AI, she’s in it for as long as Horrorboy is there. Teenagers. I kind of liked Blind Guy, but not especially. Oil Driller was a surprise - I expected country. He has a good voice. I liked Heart Girl and Tattooed Chick too. Bikini Girl has no depth to her voice. Tonight: Kansas City!
