Does anyone else think that with some voice training and acting lessons, that Deeep Voice Guy could be a voice artist on the level of Ted Cassidy? ---

I wasn’t sure that Deeeeep Voice Guy wasn’t faking. His voice had that hollow tone that you get when you’re faking. He wasn’t faking? ---

Jim says Anoop Dogg looks like Kal Penn. I’m thinking he might have the legs to go some distance (good voice, some stage experience, not shy) - we’ll have to see how the Hellywood week goes. Of course, a brown guy who might just be Muslim will have to be 10 times as good as anyone else to stay on American Idol. ☹ I liked Nerd Boy - he looks like the kind of guy I could hang out and make wisecracks about everyone with. I liked Stevie and Lil, too. It was hard to tell how talented Hat Boy was (Von Something?) - his song was kind of a hot mess. I’m glad to hear all y’all’s take on Cara and Bikini Girl - that was weird and unprofessional. Cara, you have a career that has brought you onto American Idol - you’ve written for the biggest stars. You don’t need to feel threatened by a mediocre singer who is so insecure she felt she needed a bikini to stand out in a singing contest. She’s likely to wash out right away, but I guess Cara doesn’t have that perspective yet (or really is that insecure). Just a note for the nickname pool - a roughneck/oil worker is also known as a rig pig (as in, “Did you see that rig pig sing? He was much less country than I expected.” 😃 ) ---

They came up with the wrong backstory for Anoop Dogg. They should have said he was an orphan from the slums of Mumbai – maybe give him a gangster brother and a lifelong love for the girl he grew up with. ---
