Ace didn’t suck, the breathy thing doesn’t work for me personally, but he was very coontrolled and hey, on tempo and on pitch? Good enough for the next round, surely. **Bigster** you missed a few shots of “here’s the crowd doing gymnastics! and drawing! and dancing!” as well as a few didn’t-know-they-sucked singers is all, with the notable exception of cute li’l Whitney singing girl with the great hair and pink tank top. ---

I thought Chris was pretty good. Simon was just being a dick because he hates rockers. The guy looks and sounds a little too hard edged for Simon to fit into the kind of fluffy pop package that he likes. ---

Much as I enjoyed Bo last season (to a limited extent), I hate that he and Constantine opened the door to “rockers.” Please. “Rock” and “American Idol” don’t mix. ---
