I think Steve has got the attitude just right. It was funny at times to hear Simon be Nasty, but a judge is also supposed to be honest and give good critiques. Tyler comes across very likeable. ---

I liked Fay Ginger. And what did Steve mean by “I use braaaak. It says it on the bottle.”? And J-Lo? She’s really, really pretty isn’t she? Now if FOX could replace Randy with Neil Patrick Harris, I think they’d have a hit on their hands. ---

So far I’ve liked Sexy Librarian girl and Carrot Top. And if there’s a male form of butterface, the Cuban guy would have been it. ---

When this fat kid hits puberty, his voice will change and it will suck. I had a gorgeous voice like that when I was a kid, and puberty ruined it. ---

Two episodes in, and I’m liking the slightly raunchier, bleep-heavy new Idol. And not missing Simon at all. Steven Tyler is hilarious, with great constructive criticism and just the right amount of insanity. ---

It’s just another symptom of the narcissism epidemic; the American Idol stage plays perfectly into modern youth and the ideas they’ve been raised with that they’re all special and they all deserve to be rich and famous. ---

Does anybody know the name of the song playing in the background when Cuban purple shirt guy was on? I liked Chubby Bieber. I would have liked Special Needs Kid’s mom more without the sob story. I liked young Carrot Top too. ---
