I was super-distracted by senior class president boy’s teeth- his canines seem oddly long. And apparently you have to be a 16yo geek to live in the universe where Raffi is old soul. 😉 Am I the only one who would’ve loved to have seen the audition of the young-ish brunette carrying the Madame-looking puppet (seen during the montage of the crying people)? As for Taylor, I want to know how the heck you keep that kind of tan going in Utah, of all places. Eeek. ---

I did like that when Simon asked her to tell them something about herself, she didn’t trot out the dead parents thing. No doubt they knew, but she (seemed to) chose not to play the pity card- good for her. ---

The last contestant was absolutely wonderful - probably the best I’ve heard this season. Others may have had better technical voices, but she put far more emotion and interpretation into her song than I’ve heard from anyone else. I hope she goes a long way.
