# American Idol 2/10 & 11 (Plus Bonus Question) (OPEN SPOILERS)

Good. I’m glad Miss Can’t-be-bothered-to-learn-the-lyrics is out. All that experience with performing and recording albums, and she still has trouble remembering the words to her songs? I was mad when she made it through to the top 36. Didn’t Simon say before the group rounds something along the line of, “Forget the words and you’re out.”?? And then they went on and let her through anyway. She didn’t deserve another chance, and I’m glad she’s not getting one.

And I can’t stand to watch Nathan perform because of his tears and horribly dramatic facial expressions, but I really like his voice. He did a good job with a song I like (“I’m Already There”) and a song I hate (“Disturbia”).

Yes, but…that may have only applied for the group rounds, and even then it wasn’t strictly enforced. There were others who dropped lyrics at various times and made it through.
