Now Seacrest says there are 46? So there were 25 singers in room 2? I have been flipping back and forth from the Olympics. Have they said why they didn’t give them chairs? ---

Where’s this drama they’ve been promising us? I was hoping to see some more of those degrading sing-offs like they did last year…or better yet, knife fights. ---

IMH and Musically-Challenged Opinion, Room #1 was sure to stay, Room #2 was pretty good, and Room #3 was nothing special. So to my surprise, Room #2 goes home and Room #3 stays. It looked like they showed us the best singers from Room #2 and the worst from Room #3. Not that anyone at this point is really “bad”, they just don’t compare well to the better ones. Crystal is the only one who stood out for me, but I like those smoky voices. ---

I am quite upset Mary didn’t make it. She was a pretty good singer and I love having a villain. I see we’ve got our youngster for the season. At first I thought they said Karen instead of Aaron and thought, ‘not a Karen. A K.D., maybe but not a Karen.’ Man, he better not suck because the kids and tweens will be all over him. ---

I’m not even saying that anyone they’ve show go through didn’t deserve it. I just don’t find it interesting to see the ones who made it. I feed on the pain of the ones who don’t. ---
