Them are some ratty-assed dreads on Crystal. So far I’m finding her not so much a rocker as a roots-y R&B-er. She sorta reminds me of Joan Osbourne. Haven’t seen Neck Tats yet. ---

I really feel for this poor girl. Her sob stories are real (and multiple), she is beautiful and talented, and this was her last year of eligibility. I wanted to see her make it. ---

I’m pretty sure that Neck Tats is going to make it. I actually think he could be an early favorite to win. he’s got some likability to him. I always end up changing my opinions of the contestants three or four times during the course of a season, though. Somone I start out liking, I end up thinking is a huge douche, and vice-versa. ---

Oooh, maybe Janelle has some hardcore pics floating around somewhere that’ll pop up in a week and Shriner Mom can take her place! Well, I was all prepared to hate the girl with the troll doll hair, but I liked her first performance. Rich Girl was terrible, though. ---

I don’t think Lily really deserved to go through. Her voice just isn’t that good, and she has pitch problems. I predict she’ll be one of the first ones out. ---
