Paige needed to move more. That wasn’t as bad as last week. Oh and my husband noted that she sounded hoarse while she was singing. I thought she meant to be all raspy. ---

I have not been a big Paige fan but I thought she did well on that. Maybe her best yet. ---

Paige did better this week, which wasn’t hard, except for the laryngitis. She had a little country flavor with it, I thought, maybe because she didn’t have the voice/confidence to totally rock out. ---

Worst of the night by far for me was Tim’s Pat Boone-ish almost reggae Under My Thumb. Totally did not work for me. That song calls for some smirk and smugness and there was NONE. Like Pat Boone doing hard rock, seemingly unaware that the words he’s singing have any meaning. ---

At least _Angie_ makes sense as a ballad, unlike just taking a random Stones song and sloooooooowing it way down. The Rolling Stones were just so far out for some of these kids, it reminded me of Barry Manilow working with Bucky and Chris Daughtry. Just so outside of what they know and do, I kinda felt sorry for them. ---
