I hate country week because although there are decades of great country songs all any one does is Tim McGraw and Martina McBride. ---

Randy Travis looks too much like EX-senator Norm Coleman. I can’t even look at him. And I guess it says a lot about my dread of their selections that I’m actually glad to hear a Garth Brooks song. ---

I despise country music, but I really enjoyed Allison. Yawn, Kris. Why is that a country song rather than any melodramatic song on any other night? I clearly don’t get music, I admit it. Simon is going nuts for it because it didn’t sound like the other country songs he hated. ---
